same here for the company i work for - plus side to covid is that if i have to visit a client, ill fly corporate instead of commercial.

I think we are in the same field. I dont want to go back, and will look for mobile opportunities if forced back to the office normal.

I have be working from home since June 11th.
Finally returned to the office yesterday after a negative test allowed me to. Now I'm waiting to hear if I will be working from home for the remainder of the year because the plant wants as few people onsite as possible.
I hope they say yes. I have loved working from home.

I'm in software/hardware support. Not being around more experienced coworkers and in the office with all of our equipment to look at has been a challenge. Messaging is easy to dodge, but standing at the MFers desk is unavoidable.
They had a survey go out yesterday asking about staying at home permanently. My boss intimated that idea as well in our latest one on one. Since we are a software company, it's easy for us to do. I like the office.

We went full work from home back in March, but then opened our main office here, and a few other ones at the beginning of June. Now we're moving back to working from home part of the time. One day a week now, with the plan being to eventually be 2-3 days a week at home, and no one having their own office or cubes anymore...you'd schedule a space like someone else here mentioned. Also looking at completely closing our smaller offices and consolidating floors on our larger offices.
The cost savings on travel, leases, etc. was just too much for our executive committee to ignore. Especially after we had the entire firm working from home and productivity actually went up.

We have a remote guy who is alone a thousand miles away from any other employee. Whenever he needs an office setting, there is a place in his neighborhood that rents out office space for the day. A lot of small businesses use it when they need it.

I love working from home and have been told we won't go back until next year...if ever.

Exactly. I have a major education trade show in November that announced its cancellation 3 weeks ago. I mean, WTF?!? Was it really necessary to cancel it 4 months in advance??

Been working from home for this company since Mid March. We were told that they are not going back to an office setting. When the lease is up in December, they are going to get a small, conference room type office for the occassional meeting, client etc. I did a Zoom last week with coat, tie, and gym shorts.

March - WFH
April - announced WFH until October
June - extended WFH until January
