For the election to have been held in May, as St. George supporters were hoping, Edwards would have to call for it by March 11, which is Monday

We knew that wasn't going to happen. This will pass with flying colors - just get it on the ballot. The residents of St George are way too smart and can see past the lies, corruption, and theft of the racist administration of broome.

Heal BR??? Under the broome administration, BR is not finished digging its hole!
There is no recovery until:
1. Recognize there is a problem
2. Quit digging yourself deeper in the hole

The redacted info is a minutiae for each of the signees to avoid address info. BS. It's going to be retained and marketed afterwards.

Um... I'm no fan of admiral Ackbar, but discounting the man's intelligence is foolish.

I've spoken to him a few times. He isn't polished, but he is extremely intelligent.

The names, addresses and phone numbers have already been sold at least twice since the petition was originally turned in. Hell every registered voter in the area got a text message from a group in Chicago the very next day. Hopefully someone questions this a little more and makes them come up with a better excuse to why they are delaying this vote.

Also, if the official reason for the delay is to protect the names and addresses of those who signed, would the poor woman who was doxxed by The Advocate have grounds for a suit?

He doesn't look like he can even read. They're gonna have to print one copy for each eyeball

I really think you're on to something. Wimpy Wimpy aside, vote intimidation isn't tolerated.

Which Republican candidate do I send my donation to?

I voted for John Bel the first time thinking he was a moderate that could make up his own mind...and because the Republicans mailed in a crap candidate.

Learned my lesson.

So, JBE gets the final decision of what goes on the ballots for citizens to vote for at a local level?

Meanwhile, for the first time in my life I owed money to the state on my taxes (still got a federal refund).

JBE gotta go.

I hear you, but out of curiosity - how do you feel about the state getting back control of ITEP?

Thing is, Richardson is an ISD as well. Seperated from DISD. Taxes collected for schools go to whichever ISD you reside in.

It's my opinion LA should do the same

so does the population of St George

that's exactly what this is about

The statement goes on to suggest it could be a while before the governor receives the actual petition, as the registrar’s office has informed him it needs to redact information from the document first.
