Exactly! I came to post basically the same thing.
What’s the big deal about having it in November?

Then you are a big part of the problem. I’ve met him too and wouldn’t elect him for dog catcher. I seriously hope the Republicans get behind one of the two candidates and go after all the Honor Code family man BS he ran on last time. Need to expose his crooked trial lawyer support and highlight his legislative record that made the members of the Black Caucus look like conservatives. He is a loathsome snake that needs to be sent packing. Won’t be easy with the guaranteed black block vote that either think he’s Edwin or Edwin’s son, but it can be done.

The absolute biggest piece of shite to occupy the governors mansion. That no good lying bastard is only pandering to its “democrat” constituents because it knows that’s who helped it carry that parish.
What a no good useless piece of shite crook.

Of course a “democrat” would say that. You’re a “democrat” and you love what your folks (broom, gravy, etc.) are doing and you’re too stupid to see that it will continue to ruin Baton Rouge.

I will definitely be voting against him. He could be in a runoff against a muppet and I'd vote against him

If only people in the area can vote on this, it’s going to pass in an absolute landslide. Who is he pandering too? North BR isn’t going to vote on this anyway

Landry didn’t really beat around the bush.

So Louisiana was paradise before JBE took over? Education was best in the country as was healthcare?
People have been leaving in droves for decades.

Thanks Jindal. That is why a lot of people voted for JBE, Vitter promising more of what we had the previous 8 years.

The whores also had a lot to do with him winning

Yeah, strong closing on that letter.

Every election this gets dragged out is millions of dollars moving from the unincorporated area to the city budget. By delaying it six months, he basically hands BR City a 25 million check.

Moderates aren't voting for St. George. He just gained a ton of democratic voters.
Exactly. The vast majority of St. George supporters definitely aren't JBE supporters in any event.

Not most, but the writing is on the wall. He’s playing a political game that may potentially backfire in his face.
It’s putting an encouraging reason to vote in his opponents lap. He thinks he’s in the runoff and can withstand it. Another democrat needs to run to knock him out of the race.

Maybe, but it appears he's in a strong position to get re-elected. Most people seem to be happy with the job JBE is doing. A few thousand pissed-off St. George voters in Baton Rouge won't make that big of a difference in a statewide election.

Wait until trump comes down to LA after the primary. You may feel differently
