They traversed the belts at high latitude where the belts are thinner. Even so, the astronauts received a full year's dose of radiation during the trip, and anyone making the trip would have a 5% chance of eventually developing cancer.
Swigert died of leukemia 12 years after Apollo 13. Likely a direct result of the trip through the Van Allen belts.

That video sure made it look flat, which proved they filmed it from a distance and with the lights off in the lunar module. Then something was placed to the right of the picture to make it appear to be the horizon view of the earth, which made it look more real.

I don’t believe the conspiracy. Just too many people involved. It’s also not outside the realm of possibilities considering we’ve got landers up there and ISS in orbit
