So I'm hoping maybe there's a similar kind of situation with WSP. So having said all that...is there an intro/starter course you'd recommend for them?

Today's kids will never know what it's like to unhook the kitchen telephone to plug in a long RJ11 so you can plug it into a 3Com 56.6k PCMCIA card in the side of a gray Toshiba brick of a laptop then wait to see what kind of connection you got. 36.6? Not bad. 44.4? frick yeah.
Until you got booted off of that sweet 44.4 because someone picked up a handset in another room
re: Judge rules that major portions of the National Firearms Act are unconstitutional

Not a lawyer. The argument is that the NFA was originally passed as a tax law, all within Congress’ constitutional power to levy taxes, not to restrict firearms. Now that the tax portion of the NFA has been repealed, is the NFA still a tax law? With no meaningful tax, the NFA no longer functions as a taxation arm of congress.
Try searching this board, I recall another poster had a mystery water leak in the slab. It was a few years ago.
Kisatchie National Forest - dispersed camping or designated campgrounds; wild azalea trail, caroline dorman trail, etc for hiking, or just bushwack through the NF. The Ranger District has the most hills (I believe).

Got my prescription Powsters in, seems like a pretty good value at $200. I’ve got other prescription frames 3x that. I prefer an anti-reflective coating which these don’t have, but will only use them for cycling. I’d buy these again. The prescription area takes up most of the large lens and is ground into the main lens without using inserts.
re: Contribute pretax or after tax 401k?

Love the down votes on this with no reply. Give an example when after-tax makes sense before Roth within a 401k for retirement purposes…
Agreed and also don’t understand why the down votes, maybe they aren’t familiar with after tax 401k vs 401k Roth.
Only reason I can think of for prioritizing after tax contributions is to then mega back door to a separate Roth.
I'm looking at this for a relative and legit question, other than the free $1000 why would a 530A be a better option than a normal brokerage account?
Contributions to a 530A are after tax, and withdrawals will be treated as income, so what's the benefit over a brokerage? I guess a 18-19 year old with little to no income could do roth conversions up to the standard deduction, and basically get a free roth (or is that not how it works)?
Vs a brokerage, where withdrawals would be long term capital gains and potentially have no tax (if under the income limit).

Change the plastic drain valve at the bottom to brass before you install and your set.
Great advice. I had a plastic piece of shite valve pop off. Luckily I was home, heard it happen and shut off the water quickly. Had a geyser spraying in my attic, would have been a disaster if I wasn’t home.

Hell yeah, same here. We wore that VHS out back in the day.
Wouldn’t that just screw the initial person who used the pump after the card was used? I don’t think it would benefit the gas station at all
Correct, but the gas station coordinates to have their buddies lined up for free gas.

Two of the best songs ever written.
Yep. Trace is one of my favorite albums.
That’s a pretty insightful and impressive response from a bot. It’s a lot deeper than just comparing the lyrics, it talks about the voicing and textures of the vocals/guitar.
Which begs the question, how is a bot generating this? How does AI know Farrar has a yearning voice, or the atmosphere of a song? I guess it’s just scraping the internet for reviews and commentary on these songs/artists, old articles from No Depression, etc.
