Just wait a few more years after Amazon squeezes out more competitors and begins raising prices.

They'll have consumers by the balls.

I’m not even sure what you do with that amount of money. He could basically give every human being on planet earth $20.

I’m about to start spamming him on Twitter asking if he’ll throw me $10K to pay off my student loans for good.

Maybe if you would’ve had a job for the last 8 months you could pay your loans off

What's more interesting is just how little Bezos gives back to charity

Bill Gates gave away something like 4 billion last year, Bezos? Nah

Gates famously didn't give away anything to charity until he retired from running Microsoft. Once he did that and started looking for something else to do is when he started getting interested in philanthropy. I'm guess Bezos is in a similar frame of mind.

Looks at philanthropy as a hobby. Has the rest of his life and people will always be in need.

If he wanted to give back now he could reduce everything on the site 1% and give to the masses.

Hah can always count on Bernie being Bernie. Didn't know Amazon forced people to work for them.

But really I hope some competitor can step up and put a fight to Amazon and actually improve on some areas.

Amazon is becoming way too powerful which will come back to bite us in the long run.

His security detail must be extremely lethal. Why he’s not been kidnapped and held for ransom speaks volumes about his brut squad.

He can probably change my life with the spare change under his couch cushions.

I have no problem with this. For the last 15 years instead of either cashing in and selling he has been reinvesting heavily into the company.

I have a family member who works for them and is probably worth a few million now at 40 years old. He’s earned it

The $100 billion mark that Gates hit briefly in 1999 at the height of the dot-com boom would be worth about $149 billion in today’s dollars.

Holy shite -- that's ~50% inflation in ~20 years. We fricked up.

When you that rich, you don’t have change. And you probably don’t have couches. I’m imagining some sort of air propulsion system that to relax on. Like a reverse hover board scenario.
