Awesome he wants to announce several days in advance of May1st that nothing will open until the end of May. He is going to slow roll the shite out of opening things.

Case count and ‘spread rate’ will determine when they announce plans for after April 31. Announcement will come before this date (meaning they’ll wait until close to the end of the month before telling us they’re extending it another month).

It's one thing to assume/believe/know this is happening. It's entirely different to hear the Governor tell that this is the "compliance data" that they're using.

Rumor has it that the death count is over reported. I can't speak to that rumor having any merit, but it is odd that LA has a higher COVID death rate. Maybe it's related to our unhealthy lifestyle. Maybe it's JBE and his cronies manipulating the data. Maybe it's a little bit of both. I don't know.
