Go to his fb governors page and see the comments these idiots are making ... there are a whole lot of them.

Make USSSA baseball great again.

Before May 1 he will announce limited reductions of the order in the middle of May with gradual reductions into the middle of June.
I don’t agree with this but every time he talks he signals May or longer.

This WHOLE thing was sold to NOT OVERWHELM THE MEDICAL SYSTEM and they may have been very stressed but they're NOT overwhelmed. As evidenced by no one has not had an icu bed or ventilator that needed one according to the LDH charts.

I wish Trump would pull federal money for the states that are doing better and don't open. Louisiana will burn either way so why not?? And if Mississippi does open, I'll go with my kid to get their dorm things and get a nice haircut and my nails done while I'm there. I ain't scared.

Maybe it's related to our unhealthy lifestyle. Maybe it's JBE and his cronies manipulating the data
It's almost certainly the unhealthy lifestyle. As a state we're top 5 in obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and smokers per capita. We have data to support one of your theories and baseless rumors to support the other

I know that people are working hard to take care of these covid patients ... I have friends doing that. But shite, enough is enough. Open this state.

JBE once threatened that LSU football would be canceled if we didnt pass his budget. That isnt a rumor, that happened. How after that you can trust anything he says in a situation like this, where fear mongering is an issue, is beyond me
Posted on 4/14/20 at 3:32 pm to icegator337
when is he going to realize we can’t afford all these programs if the working public has no job?

He was quick on the draw to extend out the initial deadline, now he is waiting for someone else to take the lead and take the heat off his decision to extend.
He knows with how the data looks calling for an extension is a bad idea.

I've said this from the beginning. Question is what the heck can we do about it?

correct, it will be fascinating to see what different states and the coastal regions come up with it

This is a good question. I'd have to think crowded bars, restaurants, music festivals, sporting events, etc. would need to remain limited but most businesses could return to normal. The reopening roll out will be interesting to watch
Posted on 4/14/20 at 3:35 pm to lsupride87
The fact that people actually believe this was ever going to happen
Posted on 4/14/20 at 3:36 pm to whoa
i figure La will "reopen" right after they approve sports betting.

I’ll continue to say it. July 1st he’ll do it again if we don’t pass an emergency tax increase when the state economy hasn’t recovered. Just watch.

Idk how that's applicable to anything I said, but a politician leveraging something important that he knows the other side cares about immensely to have a policy/budget pass is hardly news. Even if it is fear mongering like you say
