since the lowest death total for a single day is 34 for April I'm pretty sure there is more than 24 per day bubba

You are also pretty fricking dumb

Some people actually see the deaths attributed to the actual day of death, bubba....We are on a clear downward trend for deaths per day, bubba

Having a weekend, plus 2-3 days of holidays created a huge backlog in reporting for deaths, bubba

If he doesn't end this April 30, serious question: Do the citizens of Louisiana have ANY recourse other than to just open what they want to open? I'm assuming arrests/license suspension would happen??

I would also assume that licenses would be pulled and heavy fines issued to businesses that violate the honor code.

again, the reported deaths are not for a 24 hour period....we dont know if some of those death happened 10, 7, 5, or 3 days ago.

I know a guy that died on a Saturday, he didnt get his positive test results back for 10 days before we knew COVID19 was the cause

This is true. However, to be fair, if the death numbers are lagging, then there are potentially deaths for the last 24 hours not yet reported.

The only thing that matters is how many deaths actually occurred in the last 24 hours. Unfortunately, we don't get that information, so we are forced to extrapolate from deaths reported under the assumption that it's a few days behind. When there is a holiday weekend, and the typical reporting time doesn't happen, you get anomolies.

This may be one of those anomolies. I suspect it is.

Anyone who cant see the political manipulation at this point is a fool

It went from "yes we understand people always die. This is about saving hospitals from being overrun and keeping them from treating patients"

to

"this is about having not a single person die or get infected with covid-19"

Basically comes down to the data they are feeding the public is false.

Not that there is anything we can do about it though.

Makes me wonder how well Nola really is doing though if data is this delayed.

Screw this! How fricking flat does the curve have to be?

Are hospitals in danger of being overrun or not?
