JBE once threatened that LSU football would be canceled if we didnt pass his budget. That isnt a rumor, that happened. How after that you can trust anything he says in a situation like this, where fear mongering is an issue, is beyond me
I believe JBE wasn't the one who threatened LSU Football... it was FKA
ETA: I stand corrected

They both did. JBE did it during a statewide televised public address as part of a pitch for a tax increase.

Ask JBE questions they say ... so if I ever quit posting, they got me.
1) It was the understanding that we were staying home to not overwhelm the medical community ... they're not overwhelmed ... the LDH charts show that. You can't possibly think it's reasonable to extend this order until there are no more positive cases. That's ludicrous.
2) We're being tracked -- that's nuts. People are out for a drive perhaps because we're flipping tired of being stuck in our houses.
3) I work in long term care ... I feel for my coworkers and everyone affected by this. But it's unreasonable to ask that this continue.

I'm sensing just a wee bit of anger up in this thread.

Really?? Hadn't noticed. Seriously, it's getting nuts.

I don't know why anybody is shocked.
Actually, I hope that the person who is affected by the shutdown the most, voted for John Bel. I'm talking unemployed, collecting up debt right now, future looks bleak, and going crazy up in his house. Congrats, John Bel voters. You are responsible for putting the dipshit in position to frick this state's economy up even worse than Jindal did. In 1/10th of the time.

He will just sue and/or tax the few businesses still operating. It’s literally all the moron knows how to do

He is clearly waiting to see what other states do. There is no chance he will be a leader on this. He is the consummate back bench guy
Once the surrounding states have rolled out reasonable plans and it works, he will belatedly adopt their measures
Let retail reopen. Keep the bars and movie theaters closed. Restaurants sit every other table for distancing purposes.

Louisiana isn't even smart enough to copy what Texas does

Or appoint the mayors of NOLA, BR and Shreveport to study the best way to reopen the state
That should work.....
That should work.....
