LA citizens by and large are all stupid. They believe pretty much what they're told. John Belle knows this. Comrade Di Blasio and Cuomo are less patronizing to New Yorkers at least.

No clue. My parents have health issues. I work in a nursing home where 6 people are positive at the moment. I'm still over it. This WHOLE thing was sold to NOT OVERWHELM THE MEDICAL SYSTEM and they may have been very stressed but they're NOT overwhelmed. As evidenced by no one has not had an icu bed or ventilator that needed one according to the LDH charts.
This needs to end.

I think you need to add the 50-ish a day previously reported to that 24.
LDH reported 129 deaths reported in the past 24 hours. They have always said that the deaths reported were not necessarily in the past 24 hours. JBE broke down the figures today to further illustrate that they weren't all "new" deaths. I don't know what he can do to make it any clearer.

If he doesn't end this April 30, serious question: Do the citizens of Louisiana have ANY recourse other than to just open what they want to open? I'm assuming arrests/license suspension would happen??

He may be giving people the data, but then he says "largest death total yet" blah blah blah
NOT ATTACHING ACTUAL DAYS OF DEATH WITH REPORTED DEATH TOTALS IS A PIECE OF frickING shite MANEUVER
It doesnt present any useful trend, it only allows someone to manipulate a message. We, internally, attach every death to the actual date they died so we can truly track trends.
