Faucio yesterday said the hardest part of all of this will be figuring out what reopens first and what doesn't.
That shouldn't be remotely difficult.

This will continue to crush restaurants. Forcing restaurants to operate 1/2 capacity, most smaller places won’t be able to cover overhead.

This.
Hell, just give me some bars. Seems to me that bars allowing 50% of capacity in is safer than a restaurant as far as germ spreading.
Fck it, let the bars with outdoor seating just open for now.

bars will be crushed worse than restaurants. i have to think gyms are going to suffer just as much.

Government types don't understand this. They will when they have to furlough / layoff government workers b/c there are not enough businesses to pay the taxes to run the bloated government.

Well what's going to happen will piss people off even worse. There's going to be different rules for different businesses and people. And as mad as people are now, we are mostly in one boat (meaning we all want to reopen no matter if employed or not).
What's going to happen when business x is allowed to reopen but business y cannot open at the same time?

And then people throw big backyard parties and he has an excuse to extend it further.

Have they done any furloughs or layoffs yet?
They are losing revenue just like all of the businesses they have forced closed. I guess the taxpayer will pick up the debt.

maybe some sort of permit, inspection, certification process....at the business owner's expense?
I don’t even think Louisiana would tolerate that.

He'll slow roll this. IMO, he'll announce some restrictions will be releassed 5/1, more on 5/15, and the rest by 5/31.

When this crap started waiting in line outside wasn't so bad. Now, it seems, the sophistication of the lines are increasing in the fewer and fewer amount of places allowed to be open. I shouldn't have to wait 2 hours for the privilege to buy a replacement anything that spontaneously broke like it's Splash Mountain. It's time to open some of this shite up and if that means Civil War 2 then so be it.
Only half joking, of course. I'm still pissed at my exploding Chinese weed eater.

The dumbasses at Academy somehow got the bright idea that only allowing 15-20 people in the store at one time was something they needed to do.
Tried to take my son last weekend and there was a huge line waiting to get in. I just left.
Did curbside pick up for something the other day and the line was even longer than last weekend.

most of Louisiana will be back to normal life by May 15th. JBE can say and mandate what he wants, no one respects him.
