Is it more work for the bartender to open up bottles of expensive alcohol over cheap alcohol?

That doubles Andre's at $40K... of course Andre actually drank most of the liquor for himself.

I would've tipped $19,965.

$11k for a nights "work". Nobody better be complaining about that.

I am pretty sure gratuity was included in that 80K and he added 11K on top of that. Anyway this tipping bullshite has gotten out of control and they keep wanting to raise the standard percentage.

Sounds like a business expense/marketing - attach news articles citing the Champagne by name. Much cheaper than running a couple of national commercials and you get to partake in the fun and look like a baller.

- Am I the only one that absolutely can't taste the difference of a moderate champagne and a great champagne? The sugar and bubbles mask any complexity. I'd much rather have an expensive whiskey or red wine.

Based on his yearly earnings (not counting Beyonce's), he spent what he makes in about 4 hours based on a 40 hour work week.

In other words the equivalent of about $50 for someone making $100 a day. Since he gets a large cut of the profits on his alcohol it's probably more like he dropped a $20 bill on the night out, lol.

This is completely a marketing ploy. Now people everywhere know that Jay Z owns Ace of Spades Champagne.

Or even that it exists.

Regarding the tip, at some point the percentages go out the window.

A couple grand tip would've been more than enough. As someone pointed out already, it's not any harder work to pour expensive champagne.

You could be right. Beyonce comes from a good upbringing in Houston, surely she has explained the concept of tipping a waitress to Jay-Z
