It is now officially official, the Left has killed standup comedy. They've been working on it for years, despite the majority of them being actual Leftists, and Covid provided the final blow needed. What we will get when touring really resumes in the coming months will be a shell of what standup used to be. It will no longer be one of the protected outlets of free speech. Only soft, politically correct comedians will remain. I only hope that Doug Stanhope can maintain his "uncancelable" status. frick the rest if they are too weak to stand in the fire.

Celebrities' opinions are solely based on money. Jemele Hill has tweets joking about transgender people from like 2011. Jimmy Kimmel hosted "The Man Show" not that long ago. Lebron James completely dropped his social justice schtick the second China told him too. These are fake people with fake principles.

Such BS. A comedian should never apologies for a joke.

Comedy is dead. Now it is essentially a 24/7 slam on white conservatives and / or Christians, nothing else is game.

In his heart he knew it was wrong but he did it anyway.
Anyone remember the old Jerry Lewis movies when he portrayed the stupid japanese guy?

I guess comedy is done unless we are making fun of white people.

Has Jeff Dunham apologized for making fun of dead terrorists yet?

Never liked Leno from the get go. Didn't think he was all that funny.

So why are you apologizing?
This guy just wants attention. No one cares about his jokes from 20 years ago.

Leno continued, “at the time, there was a prevailing attitude that some group is always complaining about something, so don’t worry about it. Whenever we received a complaint, there would be two sides to the discussion: Either ‘We need to deal with this’ or ‘Screw ‘em if they can’t take a joke.’ Too many times I sided with the latter even when in my heart I knew it was wong.”
You sneaky Leno
