Wasn't there some awesome one last year? Some guy's brother was bringing a stripper girlfriend and their mom lost it? Or was that a Christmas story?

That was mine.
Every word of it was true.

Sadly, my chaotic extended family Thanksgiving only occurs every other year when all sides “get together”.

This is a normal year so you guys will have to find someone else to laugh at.

Sorry to disappoint.

Not really crazy, but when my sister(no pics) was a newlywed, she made a fancy Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, including homemade cranberry sauce. Her husband was career Navy and accustomed to chow hall Thanksgiving dinner, so she had to run out and get the canned cranberry sauce for him.

My wife makes homemade cranberry sauce every thanksgiving. And she also buys a can of the canned stuff for me, because I refuse to eat her homemade stuff.

Cranberry sauce should be jiggly and plop out of a can.

This was a viral video years back, when it initially came out it wasn't immediately apparent this was staged. Still somewhat funny to watch.

A few years ago I went to my Aunt's house for Thanksgiving. Her old neighbor had retired and moved down to Florida a few years prior but he was back in town for the holiday to catch up with friends. My aunt invited him to Thanksgiving dinner I guess because he didn't have anywhere else to go.

Anyway, the guy had moved down to The Villages - that gigantic retirement city down in Florida that is known for free golf and a bunch of boomers pissing away their kids inheritence on debauchery. Dude proceeds to get drunk and right at the dinner table starts bragging about all the drugs they do and all of the old widows and swingers he is banging down there. He wasn't that old either, maybe early 60s. I nearly lost it when he said "I've had so many old women in my bed I have to change the sheets everyday!

My FIL and I got into it big last year at Thanksgiving over the election. He voted for Biden. I specifically told him that his new president would attack the fossil fuel industry and cause gas to skyrocket. He said Biden would NEVER do that and it's right wing propaganda.

Can't wait to revisit this on Thursday.

Just like all the other brainless wonders, he won't admit that he was wrong.

I only eat canned cranberry sauce. If it doesn’t have the ridges, I don’t want it.

Was a joyous time at my house. Nary a democrat in sight.

Make it a teachable moment, have him remember what his Thanksgiving dinner looked like last year and have the 2021 meal be 40% less.

Or give him one of the dessert plates for his meal. That should be about 40% smaller than standard plates.

We had Christmas on my parents huge patio last year instead of crowding in the living room. The kids played and the adults all spread out comfortably. It is now our new family tradition if it is not freezing cold. We also switched from evening to afternoon which is better as well.

A few years ago. Were sitting around after dinner. My wife and I and a few others were sitting on the couch facing tv and most of the “older adults” had their backs to the the tv. I guess the tv was on hbo or showtime and the movie in the beginning that the actor was raw dogging his wife from behind popped up on the large flat screen tv.
My wife giggled and turned the tv off.
