At least you didn't have to drive I-12 from the split in Baton Rouge till it hits I-10 again. That is one crappy drive from the rough road to idiots in the left lane and for some reason is always crowded and has slowdowns.

At least he didn’t have to go through Morgan City.

That was shite show last night.

A barge struck the Hwy 90 bridge and LA182 is still closed for its rehab project.

The only detour around that is back to Laffy and all the way around the basin.

It opened around 3 am.

Years ago I never took a Florida vacation during a holiday week, I’d work, take the holiday pay!
Then spend it a week or two later, without the crowds!

I did spend the July 4 up in Colorado, twice. One trip we were gone for a little over 2 weeks, another for 21 days! My Aunt and Uncle ran a campground up in Creede, Co.

Going to the beach on Memorial Day weekend is asking for aggravation. Why?

So did Google maps, that’s why we went around just past Pascagoula and took Hwy 90, not much more you could’ve done when you hit Mobile..

You are included in this population right?

The amount of people I’ve heard leaving town this weekend made it an easy decision for me to stay.
