I find the IDF Telegram channel (t.me/idfofficial at least fair to follow. There are a whole lot of posts "IDF: initial report - Sirens sounded in the area surrounding the Gaza strip." Most likely on target, not a lot of editorializing. Sometimes they say more information is coming (which seems to be rare.)

Other times they post lengthy explanations about what the IDF combat engineers are doing, videos of Gaza buildings turning to dust. Again, not a lot of editorializing.

The Daily Mail is always taken with a grain of salt, but at least they showed pixelated bodies of dead children in cribs/creches, which nobody has done that I've seen. I hate it, but I need to see proof of the metadata on the photos. Hamas has clearly done heinous, terrorist shite, but I also don't want to be called out for falling for something 6 weeks from now. The Hamas supporters will focus on that one thing that we might have gotten wrong, and will use it to try to invalidate every argument against their terrorist actions.

It may or not be bait, from one side or the other, but I'm in the trust but verify camp. I want more European reporters talking about what they say, as they are generally very anti-Semitic, and if they back up the claims, that's another sandbag on the scale of justice.

I don't do Telegram, but if you do, South First Responders is an account that has been posting a bunch of stuff from the towns that were hit hardest. It isn't for the faint of heart, and they don't do much editing. All I could see was the channel preview.

What DrRC said is true. A decent portion of Israelis don't want Bibi, and many of them were protesting him. Some of those were even in the towns that saw some of the worst of the Hamas slaughter. One town had a large anti-Bibi banner displayed on its water tower.
Yet oddly, no one has appeared in this thread to say "well some of those Israeli's killed by Hamas don't really support their government" exemption they are extending to Gaza residents.

Do not look at it. You can’t unsee it.

It's not that I doubt this but their election history is so spotty and confusing I haven't been able to find any proof of this. I would love to share some proof with some people if anyone can find a source that shows it
General timeline since the elections to recent years: LINK
European Council on Elections (monitor): LINK
** It was after the 2006 elections because of their control of their legislature (for Gaza only) Hamas skipped the marginalization step and basically ousted the Palestinian Authority (in Gaza only)

Research the name Nizar Banat for a taste of how the PA handles opposition, which it considers Hamas to be it's main foe. Which is why the Irananians support Hamas, despit religious sects, and not the PA. In the West Bank the PA has done such a dismal job, being more repressive than Israel, with Iran's help, Hisbollah is the real power and actually does a much better administrative job than the PA who doesn't currently represent both Palestinian enclaves.

Aren’t most Jewish people liberal? Why are so many liberals supporting Palestine?

The Southern First Responders Telegram page supposedly only posts stuff directly from their people on the ground. They're the second link in the chain, and verify location and other details before posting. Seems pretty legit.

You can’t own or befriend a Palestinian, you can only rent them. (Lol) No one trust them.

In complete utter disclosure and truth this is all part of a broader contest between Saudi Arabia (Sunnis) and Iran (Shia) over who has the most influence in the region. Damn near ever conflict over there is about this. One is our ally, (although not always a good one) and one is our sworn enemy.

If Israel and Saudi Arabi normalize their relationship, as we are working on doing, Hamas is fricked, (and there was an accord or agreement that none of the Arab nationals would do that unless the Palestinians got their own country) and so is Iran as they loss their best two proxies. Most of the Arab world is over this fantasy, (Arafat was basically given an agreement to have that by Clinton but rejected it), so the powers behind this bs don’t ever really want this resolved so they let him know if he signed the accords it was his death sentence. He could have died a hero of peace and saved his people but he was afraid to die.

Proxy wars are a pain in the arse.

I'm not presuming anyone's motivations, and you shouldn't either. Just noting the difference in concern. That's all.

I mean that’s your prerogative, but simply by bringing it up and “notating” it, you’re making a presumption….

and there’s nothing wrong with that

Most Jews in America aren’t religious.

Until 2 months ago I was a member of a Jewish center for tennis and their gym due to proximity to my home.

They treat their holidays just like extra days off. They guys I interacted with did not go to services. In fact, they bitched because the club was closed until 1pm on Saturday.

They are a voting block, not a religion here. It really was maddening to see them vote with team Rashida.

the fan I have a feeling Saudi Arabia and Iran will be on different sides.

Seems the alot of the perception of the changes Bibi wants for the Supreme Court is determined by those covering it.

I have also read - on US conservative sites - that Bibi is trying to wrest control of the court from the left.

I don't know enough about the Israeli courts and this whole political battle but consider me skeptical of how it has been described by the MSM.

With compulsory military service, I doubt any of those youths expected to be called up when posting glamour shots on the gram. Highly doubt their loving parents are enthused about the prospect of their son or daughter going to war soon...

You realize Israel doesn’t look at the compulsory service as bad. In fact you have Jewish kids with dual citizenship that leave the States and go serve and give back to Israel…..they are like our society!

I've seen a few Israeli Jews interviewed over the past couple days that claim they leaned to the left and wanted to help the Palis.

Their opinion has changed somewhat but you can tell they are very torn by it. I guess it would take Abu putting a knife to their throat to open their eyes fully.

I mean how the hell could you live there, while watching the Iron Dome do it's thing monthly (or more often), and not have a visceral hatred for the Palis and Hezbolla?

We let them in because politicians on all sides do shite for political gain, now we have to deal with it. It’s not 1800 anymore, we bitch about illegals coming across the southern border every day. Yet, this country has the ability to stop damn near everyone crossing illegally, but being the land of the free, stops that from happening.
