A full on invasion? No whey Jose
If they bordered each other like Ukraine and Russia it might be more plausible. It would take a lot of coordination by either party to have a land invasion of the other.

Why does it seem like Iran’s attack is somewhat more effective this time than in 2024?

Seems undeniable at this point to me that Israel severely miscalculated
Israel knew they’d get hit, not sure why everyone is acting all surprised it happened.
But at the end of the day, one country just has missiles to lob and the other has f-15s and f-35s.

Iran launched around 300 in 2024. I have no idea how many this time but that might have something to do with it. In 2024 Israel reported that 99% were intercepted. Maybe?

I don't think Iraq would necessarily go all out to stop either one from marching through, and Jordan would probably only put up minor roadblocks to Iran heading to Israel. Egypt isn't exactly on the best terms with Israel either.
None of those countries could provide aerial support for an Iranian land incursion to be plausible, even if they all worked together

I'm not talking about either country lining up and sending their whole ground army and tanks, etc.
Just wondering if either one will send troops to attempt any sort of ground based attacks. It doesn't seem like either side would be able to fully accomplish their goals without actual troops on the ground inside either combatant

Mossad has been inside Iran for some time now prepping for Israel's attack on their nuclear program. They're still there just waiting for the "Go" signal.

They probably learned some lessons about how the system responds in 2024. They claimed it to be a success. Perhaps that was the reasoning. It was a test run to see how to better attack it in the future maybe.

I think this is true, and it will mostly be a different group than what has already been used. They have Iran looking internally and at what has been claimed about the first night while something different is coming. Pushing out missiles doesn’t mean Iran has gotten anything back on track. They would need to show more than that.
Until they show anything like that Israel seems to now be playing a version of rope a dope pushing Iran to use up weapons and/or show them where things are while continuing to strike key sites in Iran trying to get them the opening they need to use the existing group. They can’t just over power them with numbers on the ground to get to the enrichment plants.

Oh Hell, latest intel shows that a month or so ago Iran, in anticipation of this attack, sent a HUGE order to CHYNA for enough ammonium perchlorate to complete their manufacture of 800 ballistic missiles. Apparently, these orders are not complete and still arriving daily.
Hopefully Mossad has identified the missile manufacturing facilities.

That is more likely a result of orders placed to supply Russia. They have been cranking out ballistic missiles for them for a long time. It was probably just serendipitous it was arriving when they happened to need it for themselves.

The way I read it there are many watchdog groups internationally that monitor and track these types of orders and this particular order was unusually large or rather HUGE.
So you're saying that Iran has been manufacturing missiles for Russia?
Did not know that.

That could be and it may or may not have anything to do with Russia asking for more.

Missiles, drones, and munitions. This is one reason pro-Russia people are coming out sounding pro-Iran, if Iran gets caught up in their own conflict it can and will reduce their material support for Russia.

I wouldn't doubt that one or more of the deceased scientists are Mossad agents who spirited out of Iran.

Iran was not giving up their nuclear program and knew Isreal would try to strike before the first test. Iran believes the nuclear facilities will survive the attack.
Isreal will probably have to do a commando raid to destroy the facilities. They are willing to do a suicide mission.
