But your life is in no way at risk. But you don't really care about that. The only thing you care about is control, and forcing your beliefs on others because of a mistaken sense of moral superiority.

No, but I don't wear one for other reasons. Also, people who are high risk probably should protect themselves. But with that said when did it become my responsibility to to take care of other people? I'm just sick of the moral narcissist saying I wear one out of respect of others..

That’s mighty nice of you to cuss out hourly workers merely trying to enforce either their company policy or the policy of the city you are in.

You really showed them though!

Alternatively, it could be a sign the wearer believes in biology and does not believe in offering quarter to pathogens.

I've voted across party lines and voted for Bush and Obama exactly once each. I delighted in the 2016 troll job, as I have no love for Hillary Clinton, and watching things unfold I'm hoping Trump wins again, even though I don't like him, I view him retaining the office is the lesser of two evils at this point.

I consider myself pro life, mostly as an extension of libertarian ideals.

I distrust the federal government, its taxation, debt, and spending.

All this consternation about wearing a mask ridiculous.

It shouldn't be political or partisan. If a company wants me to wear a mask, I'll either wear it, or not do business with or work for said company.

Are they effective? I don't know. Japan seems to be doing much better than we are, and their lock-downs were not as draconian as ours. Evidence speaks to me.

If I wear a mask I'm not virtue signaling. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Depends on the setting, density, and requirements.

I just don't see it as a big deal. It is my responsibility to do no harm to others.

The opposite of that is: I don't care if I cause harm to others. Is that where you want to plant your flag?

Total BS, I do everything any normal person needs to do in their day to day life, and have not worn a mask since this fiasco started.

For some, yes

Others are just easily manipulated

Still others spent $19.99 on this designer cloth mask with my favorite team logo on it and, by God, I'm going to wear it.

I think there is more or an anti government sentiment in the no mask group than there is pro government in the mask wearing group

A lot of people wear masks to avoid getting and / or spreading covid- nothing more than that.

I wear one sometimes out of courtesy for the workers that are having to deal with hundreds of people per day and have no clue if I have covid or not. It’s just polite.

I’m about as anti government as anyone here

No. It's an expression of my desire to continue receiving a paycheck from my employer who requires it.

Irregardless (as Prof. Frank Maraist would've said), since my work involves going into customer homes, it's a reasonable thing to do.

It does get hot as balls though.

What are we going to do in a year or so when we find out these cheap, Chinese-made cloth masks folks are peddling and wearing cause cancer? You know the class action is coming.
