So, let’s go bottom end...
100,000 COVID laws were passed? Because that is the subject of the OP.
No dumbass you said peoples fear can't stop your freedoms. That's 100% patently false. There are all sorts of laws on the books that limit your freedoms.

We are discussing the Covid laws...got to run now, genius. Try to keep up.

I’m also respectful enough to put on my mask in any store that’s requiring it.
I do the same only when it’s required. If it’s only suggested, I don’t wear one. Maybe I should wear a pin that says I have Covid-19 antibodies so I don’t get the mean looks.

Wrong.
Oh well that settles that.
Especially in cases where a violation isn't a criminal offense but rather a fine against the complacent business.
Im not a fan of the mandates either, but I fail to see the legal basis of unconstitutional.

I guess OP doesn’t wear a seatbelt either. That would just be a sign he supports big government.

I always take off my shirt and my shoes before entering convenience stores and then challenge the cashier’s knowledge of the constitution when they ask me to leave. Works every time.

That's nit what you said. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

Try to say shite thats not factually inaccurate.
And just FYI, if there are any Covid related laws, then, yes, people's fears limit your freedoms. So at either rate, you're wrong.

Seems to be. Seems almost divided along political lines, as well.

No.
Pushing that belief on others is, however.

Or, in other words, a show of support of a big government having control over your personal life/ space?
Actually, liberty does not exist without responsibility. If you do not act with serious social responsibility, then you invite and justify the imposition of external control.

Statists wet dream..
Act like we want you to, or we will force you to comply!
Oh, and defund police!

You avoid totalitarianism by not acting like a dumbass. Dumbasses need to be regulated by laws and sometimes have to be put in cages. People who self-regulate and self-control Can live free.

But why?
Why in the last 3 months do I need to this? Why weren't we doing this since Humans came out of the caves

No, you avoid totalitarianism by not being a totalitarian.
Which you most certainly are.

There are lots of things severely mentally ill people do.
Wearing a mask is just one of those things.
Not sure any statement about statism is implied.

I’m certain you steal from your neighbors, dump oil on the ground, piss in the sidewalk and carry a gun everywhere so no one can “control you.”
If you don’t do these things, you are already at least partially self-regulating. But if you insist on risking my life with your recklessness, society will have to step in and control you.
Organized community is the basis of civilization. If you can’t live in that, you are trash.

I always find these threads amusing.
Statism for wearing a mask?
