Besides crime?
I might have to go for work. It's 15 degrees there right now.

Detroit will eventually make a full recovery. It was a middle-class mecca in the 50s. Culcha moved in and destroyed that city but it will rebound.
If you were looking for some cheap housing, Detroit real-estate has almost nowhere to go but up.

In 20 years Detroit will be nicer than New Orleans.

It’s just like any other city. shite areas you avoid. Suburbs with Applebees and Target. Wealthy areas with fine dining.
A lot of historical stuff to check out if you’re into automobiles.
Detroit actually has a nice coastline on the lake.
You’re 30-40 minutes from Ann Arbor.
But yeah this time of year will be “frick this” cold.

Arson by the thousands is actually cleaning the place up. Pretty smart beautification project honestly.

I really miss the coney dogs and Stroh’s beer in Detroit.

It might not be the greatest city in the US of A, but if you can't find ANYTHING worth a damn in a major city than you might be the problem.

It definitely has some bad areas that were basically deserted after the economic downturn. The downtown area is actually pretty nice. Ford Field, Comerica Park, and the new Little Ceasers Arena are all within walking distance. If youre downtown, you can go to Greek Town and have a good time with good food and drinks. Stop by a Coney Island. There are 2 famous Coney Islands right next to each other on Michigan Ave called American Coney Island and Lafayette Coney Island.

It has two Fortune 500 companies inside the city limits. (Louisiana has two for the whole state).
It has teams in all 4 professional sports.
