There's only 1 place that I would like to visit. The great pyramids of Giza. To see them in person, and try to figure how the f**k they built them so many years ago.

I'm glad I saw London, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Munich, Milan, Zurich, Copenhagen and so many others when I was in my 20's in the 90's. Those placed simply don't exist anymore. They're all basically Pakistan now.

We are a continental nation. You can see all climates and biomes outside of arctic and tropical rainforest without ever getting in a plane or boat.

just got back from two weeks in Scotland and England - fabulous trip.
Off the top of my head I've been to:
England
Scotland
Ireland
Germany
France
Italy
Belgium
Switzerland
Hungary
Austria
Tanzania
Zimbabwe
South Africa
Dubai
Qatar
Venezuela
Argentina
Mexico
Puerto Rico
Costa Rica
Canada
Bermuda
Bahamas
Japan
The only places a really don't care to go back to are Mexico and Venezuela. I also have a lot of places still to see in the States.
I just don't understand people who don't want to see some more of the World. I get not going to certain places - Mid-east and India come to mind. But its a great big world out there with lots to see and lots to experience.

I love traveling internationally. I HATE traveling to all of the top tourist spots internationally.
Waiting in line an hour to take a picture of a blue dome in Santorini? no thanks. Driving up into the Black Mountains of Crete, doing a hike, then eating at a restaurant where they pick their own spices, veggies, raise their own meat? Yes.
Follow thousands of people to Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec? nah. Go over to Ile d'Orleans and visit a winery and local produce/farm. Yes please.
Walk by the tourist stuff, check the box, then go off the beaten path and you can see amazing people/places/things.

I honestly have no interest in going to Europe again. I’d be interested in spending time in Japan. Other than that I’m more interested in nature tourism. Would love to spend time roaming around in Chile and Argentina.

My Dad’s health isn’t great. He’s in his 70’s. His doctor strongly recommended he never leave the US again due to potential medical disasters overseas. Therefore, he is basically restricted to the US.
My point: do the international if you want to when you can. There may come a time when you can’t.

I’m not sure where I’m going. I said I would never do I cruise but a buddy is doing a MSC cruise and they are getting married there so I just bought the 7 or 8 day cruise. I was in his 1st wedding 20 years ago so figured I had to go to this one but I’m done being a groomsman.

I’m currently on vacation (Utah) with two other couples. One guy said he has no interest in international travel because he hates the air travel. That’s reasonable.
