This is what I just don't get. I've experienced the same in Europe. Be there a week and a half or two weeks and you lose 5 - 10 lbs. And I'll eat arguably worse foods there, especially with the carbs.
Shows that it's really the poison they are putting in our products here more so than just pure diet. And probably why, even if you eat very healthy, it can be hard to lose weight. We have no clue genuinely what is in our food and I'm glad RFK Jr. is trying to combat it.

Yep, you got me figured out.. I never became a Billionaire, or even a multi-millionaire.. as such, I found it hard to save and invest as much as id like, after paying my bills in America, going thru divorce, et al.. also as a guy quickly approaching 50 years old, and not rich, I did find my dating options pretty limited .. so I “ran off !’ to greener pastures…. Best decision I ever made .
But wow, what a genius you appear to be.. truly a dizzying intellect you have .

It’s definitely both, lots of walking and cleaner foods without all the preservatives.
Makes me want to shop more at Whole Foods over HEB and I love my HEB man.

I don't see anything wrong with his preference, the USA has a lot to see. I'd like to go back to Europe, not possible with my disability.

Me. I have had to go to Macau for 2 weeks once for work. I feel I can do whatever I want in the US. I really do not want to deal with all these other countries. I want to be relaxed on vacation and know I can do what I want. Have food I like. Whatever. I don’t want to feel like god knows what can happen and may need an embassy or may not be able to communicate with people. I can live without all their cultures. I get enough culture in Louisiana. Good and bad.

Visiting the Philippines and not venturing outside of metro Manila (Quezon City is in metro Manila) is no different than someone from overseas who visits the United States but never goes beyond NYC, Brooklyn or maybe north New Jersey.. Nothing wrong at all with it, I give you credit for getting out of your comfort zone and going, seriously.. but just like NYC, it's not really representative of the country, like not at all... there's literally 7,000 islands to see.. of course most of them are uninhabited, lol .
My favorite thing about the Philippines is the women .. I have friends who prefer the more traditional Asian looking women in Thailand or in Vietnam, but the women in the PI are a beautiful mix of Asian and Latina, the women I dated there all had last names like Martinez or Rosales .. Plus, they speak English, which is a massive plus .

I have no evidence to back this up, but I believe it to be true:
People who are uninterested in international travel are on average stupider than people who are.
It shows a lack of intellectual curiosity and longing for adventure that is a highlight of intelligent people.

I’m not completely zero, but close. I’ve seen a lot of different countries throughout my life and there is a ton of the United States yet to see and really spend time in.
