The safe or the cabinet could be full of cash.
If that were to be the case, I'm sure the government would figure a way to get most of it.

Looks like a safe mover’s storage unit. I’m bet there is nothing good inside those safes

Someone gambled $41K to find out
Makes me want to go buy a cheap gun safe from Academy and throw it in a unit then scatter other junk around and put it for auction. Individuals can do their own storage auctions on those sites so if I was a scammer type of person it would be tempting.

Dude willing to gamble like that probably does it a lot. He should try and make some extra cash off it with a YouTube channel.

Wonder if the safes are locked or not.
It may have been someone that got the empty safes from someone that were locked hoping to be able to open them and put his guns in it, but never got around to it.
Could a felon bid on this storage unit? Asking for a friend of course

On a normal career trajectory yes. However I struggled with the fork lift and was assigned other duties.
What a great answer!

But based on the presence of guns, a safe, uhaul dollies, spools of cable, rolls of plastic, etc. There's a good chance that unit belonged to a low level cartel member.

Seems like it could be an easy way to launder money? Is this unit located at Lake of the Ozarks?

It’s not a take if it was me looking at this purchase. I’d say a safe may contain more ammo than guns all things considered.
When it does sell and is revealed, come back here and post the contents if possible. Thanks.

When you're getting bid up from 7.2k to 35k, you're probably making a mistake. The other bidder could have even been the seller.

Better be 6-10k scopes on high end rifles for that kind of bid.

That appliance dolly is a limited edition UHaul model xkr-7100. It was produced only in 1984 with a limited run. It was only rented out at the Jerry's Quick-stop II right outside of Bunkie (and a limited number of ACT stores in Canada).
Only 32 were produced, and the 12 that were sent to Jerry's QS II, 1 was run-over by a 28foot box van and the other 11 were stolen.
That thing is easily worth the lot price.

I can’t tell much by my phone but most of those look like basic cheap rifles, couple AR’s and maybe one or two New England firearm shotguns.
OTOH, my safe is full, so I leave my least valuable guns in the closet. The safe or locker might have the good stuff.
