Transgender is the proper term but it is also acceptable to use transman or transwoman. Trans is offensive because it is shows that you do not have the respect to write out or say the entire term. They deserve the respect for you to say or write out the entire term. Basically calling a transgender person trans is like calling a homosexual person homo.

Also it is offensive to call them transexual person because they do not argue that their biological sex is male or female but that does not mean their gender is male or female. Gender is different from sex and should be acknowledged as such.





























That is not my personal views but that is a basically what was taught to me in residency training during a course that Biden's HHS required residents to sit through.
