New Orleans hands down is the dirtiest town I have ever been to. Full of scum. Save yourself a disappointment go somewhere else.

NYC is for sure dirtier but New Orleans isn't far behind.

Point where in my post did I say that a tourist was murdered and/or the media swept a murder under the rug

You clearly didn't follow the conversation I was having with NIH.

Someone doesn't have to be murdered to be a victim. Pretty simple to understand.

Someone also doesn't have to jump in the middle of a conversation and argue a point no one was arguing either.

Given all the other dumb shite you obsess about, I'm sure you'll be killed by a vaccination or chem trail before you get there.

Normally I would say that if you aren't stupid then it is no worse than most other major cities, but for you, you should probably just stay away.

A city like Boston is much cleaner than New Orleans or NYC.

Relative to each other, but not to Prairieville.

You just compared a city of 8.5 million to a city of 400,000. That makes New Orleans a cesspool.

actually not me but a guy I was with on a bachelor party bought fake drugs

It happens. Me and my friends were hustled fantastically by some strippers in Vegas at a bachelor party. The moment I realized we were ripped off, I fell to the floor laughing at how fricking naive I was.

Both are among the most major tourist destinations and well known cities in the world. So yes they are comparable in that respect. People worldwide don't identify with Houston or Oklahoma City as a major US icon but they do with NYC and New Orleans.

My wife and I have never had a problem around the VC.
Just stay in the most populated areas, especially at night.
I need to say we haven't been down therein about 18 months though.

I go there all the time. I spend at least 20 days every year in French quarter.

I've literally never seen or heard anything dangerous happen.

Hang out at bars near State Troopers I guess. I wouldn't count on NOPD to do much more than stand around and people watch. The only problems I've ever had could've easily been avoided, but I've still never been robbed or killed. I don't hang out in the quarter, but I have been known to frequent bad parts of town
