Are you sure the sensor is bad?

Yes, shop confirmed it. He actually said one just may need a enw battery, but not to worry about it until I replaced the tires.

Engine misfire is a bigger problem than just having the light on!

Mine is on, but it's an air sensor that is discontinued and there is no replacement part for it. I can get one on ebay, but they are more than $200 and it doesn't affect the engine by being out.

It’s a sign that you don’t handle up on your business. Typically, trashy people with shite credit scores fall into that category.

I have a fifteen year old truck with no lights on. Maybe you should tell your boyfriend to get off of his lazy arse and fix it

I just call it my dashboard Audi symbol.

Thing stays on. That is how they make their money.

Every thing turns that stupid light on.

I can't keep the tire light off.

I'm old though so I drove at least half my life without a dashboard warning light for tires anyway. Not so old I can't tell a flat from a full tire yet though.

P.S.

Yes. the people that you pick up hitchhiking who happened to look over at your dash and see the check engine light are going to judge you. I hope you can sleep tonight.

My fuel level sensor is bad so my check engine light is also on. I am using the odometer and fill up every 200 miles. There is some risk with the light being on all the time because something else could malfunction and I wouldn't know and it could be costly.
It costs $300.00 to have the sensor changed. I could change it my self, its not complicated. You tube gives detailed instructions, but at 77 it won't be much fun.
