I read something a while back that explained women, therapy and the mental health crisis.. To paraphrase, women unlike men can't stfu about mental health. They talk about it with everyone, friends, coworkers, their therapist. They ruminate on it and soon their "issues" pop up within their female circle because everyone is sharing and cross pollinating each other with "mental health" issues...
Guys will listen to another guy talk about ongoing issues, but there is a timer running. Eventually you're expected to sack the frick up, deal with it and move on.because we don't want to hear about your bullshite every time you're around.
and the dirty little secret, women don't want to listen to a guy whine about his issues all the time either, so there's that.

Therapy is like dating. When you find a good one, its worth it. Too many of them are just validating emotions and behavior.

The ones that aren't need to be. There are good women out there but they are few and far between. If you have one, count your blessings and don't frick it up, because it's rough out there.
