This place looks better than Buc-ee's. I hate all the breakable kitsch they have at Buc-ee's. As a mom of two, that is the last place I would want to stop on a road trip with small children.

Yes, they see my chemistry degree on LinkedIn and I get tons of ads. I know some of those jobs are real, my cousin had one locally, but with the volume some of them have got to be scams. I don't have time to sift through that nonsense.

It is gambling. Especially buying sealed boxes. Even buying singles there's no guarantee, the "value" these cards hold isn't real, they're just pieces of paper, so the prices really depend on what the people with the money to spend decide are the "best." There's research you can do to try to make informed decisions when purchasing, but if you're looking to make a lot of money, it's a ton of time to put into something that may not work out. If you're looking for a hobby and not an investment, buying cheap cards that are undervalued and flipping it can be profitable. But really only if you go through COMC, flipping cheap raw cards and trying to ship them is too much effort.

I was one of those women until I went to college for forensic chemistry and realized it's pretty messed up to be obsessed with this kind of content. All those women should try actually investigating child rape and murder cases if they're so interested in being helpful. Guarantee a majority would never pursue the career and stop listening to or watching true crime.

I think castrating child predators should be a seriously considered option.
