Aren't you mid 20s? I don't know anyone our age who considers generic suburbs to be the best part of Houston but ok
I’m 28.
I hate crowds, or more or less young people in general.

I was in the Rice Village area for a few weeks and found it to be REALLY nice.

These threads are always the same
Random Louisiana posters visiting their 50+ year old married relatives who work for Chevron in some Houston suburb commenting on how of a dump or boring the city is, all the while completely avoiding any area inside the loop

I was inside the loop for half the day. Sucked balls. What’s so great about it?

In terms of cost of living, jobs, and things to do, there are not many better areas to be young and making money than inner loop Houston

I kno no one who lives in the city anymore. The few people I did know had their homes destroyed and they moved.
I like the Woodlands a lot, the few times i’ve stayed downtown and what not for work were pretty damn boring.
I have had fun for Ranger games there and also when Man City played.

Downtown sucks but has gotten better over past 2-3 years
Montrose, Heights, Mid-Town, etc are all great areas to be young and single

NIH, you're living in a dream world. Even in it's best days Houston was a shithole. I understand having to bite the bullet and living there for work but downtown Houston blows. Cinco Ranch and Katy is nice.
You act like downtown Houston is all Carrie Bradshaw and Sex in The City or the set of Friends. It's a shithole people put up with for a job.
Even inside of Texas, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin are way better. Hell even San Antonio > Houston.
I can think of at least 50 places around the US where I'd rather live than Houston.
Sorry that you're in Houston but let's get real.

Yep. Only people who think differently live in the houston suburbs.

It's the fault of all you Louisiana assholes fleeing your failed state.

Damage was much worse outside the loop than in so not sure how this is possible unless you’re lying. Only friends of mine who had damage ITL live right on White Oak
OP is clearly trolling hard
