I'm hopeful that New Orleans will elect at minimum a semi-intelligent mayor that can begin to turn things around. But it's doubtful.

Unfortunately the city will continue on its current path for quite a while. Probably smart to get out.

New Orleans sucks. Some of you are too stupid to see that. But keep posting "well, bye". It doesn't help your argument. Your city is a breeding ground for the scum of the earth. It's run by race baiting puppets. It's dirty and full of holes like your mom's arse. And the food and drinking are easily replaceable

Really bad geography is the first culprit. Sinking swampland. No room to expand into new areas. At the mercy of tropical weather.

Too much poverty. This leads to bad schools, high crime, and the election of people who are ill equipped or unwilling to address the problems. Oh and this: Poor people reproduce a lot faster than the producers in society.

All of the above mean that big companies won't come here, and those that are (were) here can't wait to move out. It's a slow decline into decay and despair.

ya, but new olreans has objectively better parks and better weather to use said parks

there are plenty of other angles id use to compare the two in favor of denver but the parks is probably the last one id pick

I've spent plenty of time in Denver and live in NOLA area. Denver weather and parks knock the snot out of NOLA. Outside of downtown and Denver proper, the neighborhoods are integrated with each other via greenways with parks, fields and paved paths. Miles and miles of them. It's no contest here.

If you're talking about city proper then NOLA has the upper hand on parks in city Park and Audubon Park. But that's it.

Easier to see from the outside looking in you fricktard. The local degenerates are too dumb to understand that

The little bit of time I spent in Denver this summer had me in awe. It's incredible what picking up after yourself can do for your city. Unfortunately for this place there are equal amounts of trash and trashy people.

Ummm...Denver and NOLA have different socioeconomic & demographic makeups.

Or perhaps you missed the irony that every shitty thing about NOLA happens in BR, yet BR has none of the positives that NOLA does. The only reason BR is anything is LSU.

I'm not defending Baton Rouge here, but saying "haha your city sucks too!" isn't a strong argument.

I expect better from you.

Can understand your points about New Orleans but not Denver. I go to Denver a good bit and over the years it has become a dump.

There are tons of poor people in many big cities. The problem is NOLA's are incredibly violent and have affected quality of life in areas outside of their neighborhood.

Are yall just choosing to ignore the irony of his post?

I've said NOLA has major issues in every one of these threads. I thought we established that you aren't stupid

The point is that Baton Rouge fricking sucks too, and has a ton of the same exact issues that New Orleans has.

Yes I get it, everything negative he said about New Orleans can also be applied to Baton Rouge as well. That strikes me more as hypocrisy than irony.

New Orleans is a difficult place to live. I spent roughly five years there, was thrilled to leave, and would never even consider moving back.
