For anyone who may remember my situation from a couple years ago, i wanted to update. After becoming "legally blind" my vision continues to deteriorate due to a genetic syndrome that has "ate up" my optical nerve. Really nothing can be done to treat the condition and drs are not sure how bad it could get. I was surprisingly approved for disability at 40 years old within months. Not something im proud of but every thing helps i guess. Luckily my wife kicks arse (no pics) and has a good gig. Definitely hard to deal with from the "providers" point of view but i am thankful. I appreciate everyones advice in the beginning

At least being legally blind won’t change anything when you look down. Your dick was already too small to see.

Musk was asked by an audience member when he envisioned "solving blindness and bringing that to the masses."
"Neuralink has had in monkeys a working device we call Blindsight," Musk said. "It has been working well, and the monkeys are healthy for a few years now. "
Blindsight, which received FDA breakthrough device designation in September of last year, is an implant that aims to restore vision in individuals who are blind.

Not sure if you can read this but I’ve seen a lot of people with eye problems say it stopped getting worse when they got on a fat people shot

Damn, man. That sucks, sorry to hear that.
I know you will adjust eventually, but I can't imagine seeing for 40 years and then going completely blind. I'm glad you have someone ready and willing to help take care of you until you can start to figure things out. That's a blessing for sure.
Are you completely blind? I'm genuinely curious as to how you made this post (or if you can read the replies).

So how are you able to make this post if you are disabled and getting benefits?

Sorry i should have been more clear but i am obviously not completely blind. I have 20/250 vision in my "good eye".

Driving is obviously not an option. My career for the last 20 years has consisted of heavy machinery so safety is a bit of a concern.
