I think to remember is the most other countries they wouldn't be allowed to do what they are doing.
Of course the rioters don't understand that but I think most of the protesters do.

I have been with black friends who were aressted for suspicion of dealing...they had no drugs or warrants... while me and the 2 other white guys were told to move on. I thought we all had the same freedoms until I experienced that.

I’m sorry that happened. If there was no probable cause then they should have made quite a bit of money in a civil case for false arrest and false imprisonment. That’s the great thing about this country. In situations like this when you keep your head and not do anything stupid you end up making quite a bit of money when someone does something stupid to you.
If there was probable cause then there is significant details of this that you are leaving out.
ETA also it appears that your issue is with one or two specific cops not freedoms of the country. The great thing about this country is even with a couple of dumb officers they cannot be the judge and jury
