Well the sixth amendment guarantees in criminal proceedings a jury of the aforementioned peers. I’m sure with his witness and his story that there is no jury that would convict.

That's great but not reality. The cops stated they saw the black guys dealing to other people .....even though we all rode down in the same car and we're never apart before the cops showed up. I related the story because that is what black people deal with on a daily basis. That's the fact most white people don't understand. We all expect laws governing police behavior to be upheld but they aren't.

Right, no one has been wrongfully convicted.

But is it ok to hassle people and make them incur such costs in time and money as long as they don't end up in jail?

I know that no one is going to change your mind, and you will continue believing that free is free and everyone in America is equally free, but that's just not how it works out for some.
