Are you always so fearful of authority? I really don’t understand this attitude. If you didn’t do anything wrong don’t act like it.

Well you drive a truck, and not a Charger, and are Whitish/Canarian, so that helps in LA.

Supervisor will be there in 10 minutes.

Chris Rock warned of this type of shite.

After wraslin with a frickin giant that officer finally gets some backup and it’s a fricking woman.

This all could have been avoided by just handing over the license and registration and taking the ticket. He can have his day in court to fight it ,but now he got assault and resisting arrest because he wanted to be the entitled militant black guy.

All of the Karen’s and Chad’s of the country who’s aunts and uncles are assistant prosecutors for the U.S. government and happen to know their supervisor personally.

When I’m pulled over I ask them to hold my beer while I get my license.

When did this happen? It’s snowing in the video.

Your advice will definitely stop you from getting shot, but damn we don’t live in a military state where police just up and shoot citizens all the fricking time at their own whim.
Talk to them like human beings and be respectful with yes sir, no sir. It’s not that fricking hard

I've been pulled over many, many, many times. Talking to them like a normal person has kept me unshot for 20 years so far. I've been pulled over while carrying several times....still haven't been shot
It's really not complicated.

That is the most used quote by 90% of the black lives that didn't matter. This would resonate with me, but...

I do keep my hands clearly visible when first approached, but as others said, treat the officer like a human with respect and the same will be done to you. Be transparent.
The one time I did get pulled over while carrying was in rural north Louisiana at night. My dog was in the backseat and having none of the officer, but I just apologized, told the officer where the gun was and asked him to get it. Said he wasnt putting his arm in the vehicle with my angry *standard poodle* in the back. Gave the officer weapon, he unloaded it said "damn, you got the good shite in here" gave it back to me and told me to have a nice night.
ETA: Tazer completely ineffective on Malik, but the dude definitely showed restraint. He couldve thrown that officer around like a ragdoll

Isn't the "secret code" to say in a slurred voice, "Occifer I did't do sheet" as soon as your approached?

Whatever happened to rolling all the windows down, hands at 2 and 10, and greeting the cop when he walks up with a pleasant "Good morning (or other appropriate greeting of the day) officer (or other appropriate title befitting the cop and department), how are you today (or this evening)?"
That and a quick glance around the passenger compartment has gotten me more than one 'I stopped you because I clocked you going a little fast. Let's slow it down and get where you're going safe, ok? Have a nice day (night).'

Very true. I get pulled over about 2-3 times per year. I am 47 and have had 2 tickets in my life. A little respect and a LTC in Texas are a damn near get out of a speeding ticket free combo.

It’s cause you’re white. Cops don’t shoot white people. He probably only pulled you over to see if you needed another beer.
