Motherfricker. I'm still voting for the Lord's Sidearm today regardless.

I wonder how much pushing this to a vote cost the taxpayers

Whatever it cost to put that little table on to the ballot?

It's not like there's been some concerted effort by state or local governments to push this. Most folks here have gotten a kick out of it, if not causing some heated discussions among Idaho's rather prolific amount of gun owners and enthusiasts.

tl;dr - Get the stick out of your arse. It's a fun vote here that cost nothing.

I already voted for it. It's the iconic American sidearm, first issued prior to World War I and in service up until my own time.

Finally a worthwhile ballot question, containing zero rigged language to obfuscate the true intent.

The poor Remmy 700 didn't even make a showing....

Actually that the Winchester Model 1873 gets to have "the gun that won the west" on the ballot may be the most rigged ballot language I've ever seen.

That's never going to lose on a general ballot against guns that just have the name.

Idaho has a $250m budget surplus this fiscal year.

Their state bond rating is much better than Louisiana’s.

Today's trivia (firearm related): today is the 100th anniversary of the passing of Phoebe Ann Mosey (11-3-1926).

She was the real deal, man.

Not bad but I’d prefer the 1894.
