they don't have the car without the motion censor camera being triggered, not by him, but by an animal. It was a lucky break.

Did you read the affidavit? They caught the vehicle multiple times on video provided by the King Road Neighborhood between 3:30am and 4:20am.

I'm sure it has been mentioned in the past few pages, but Kohberger (his phone) re-visited the scene around 9:15 the next morning.

Could he have been going back for the knife sheath?

Sounds like these cops were crackerjack and freaking awesome. I thought it was botched and thought they would never find the guy until he did it again. I apologize for that line of thinking.

I think the only mystery left is why the roomie took so long to call 911.

He's so guilty even the OJ jury would convict.

the sheath

Is this how they know what specific type of knife was used?
Seemed like very early on there was information about what type knife was used

If I'm reading the affidavit right, the girl that saw him was on the 2nd floor and the boyfriend and girl that were killed on the same floor? But the girl that saw him heard the commotion upstairs, and upstairs is where the sheath was found?

So he killed the 2 on the 2nd floor first, brought the sheath upstairs, killed the other 2, left the sheath, and then walked past the girl that saw him?

I'm almost thinking that the girl that survived knew him. I don't want to go all conspiracy that she was involved in the murders. But why would she have survived and why would she not call the police?

As well as on video leaving Pullman around 2:30am, and returning back to Pullman around 5am.

The motion sensor camera he keeps mentioning picked up sounds of a cry or whimper and I believe a dog barking. Multiple different cameras captured the car in the area, and going too/from the area.

Yes, it had USMC Ka-Bar printed (or imprinted) on it.

You are a dumbass. Please stop posting this dumb shite. Read the affidavit. They had his car coming to and going from the scenes on dozens of cameras, not just the one next to their house.

True, though there may be more DNA evidence than disclosed in the warrant.

I highly doubt she was involved.

But he did ask if anyone else was arrested. Would be crazy if it turned out she was involved.

But, nah, she wasn't.

According to the affidavit the sheath was marked with Ka-Bar, USMC and the eagle, globe, and anchor insignia.

Could the cops have also been waiting on the roomie to potentially slip up?

They probably also thought it was suspicious that she waited so long, so maybe they were waiting to see if her and the killer had any interactions.

She's probably just a dumbfrick but they had to rule it out.

Yeah, but he turned it off before the murder and didn't turn it back on until after

So, if true, this graduate student of criminal justice used a car that can be linked to him. Then put himself in a position to get DNA all over him by using a knife in a messy fashion which he no doubt spread to the car. Especially if he left in a hurry being spooked by a roommate. Which is likely since he left the sheath.

And he very possibly scarred and bruised himself by going overboard adding more evidence against him.

Got damn what an idiot.

Probably thought he was smarter than the "hayseed" cops in Moscow, ID.

Their Keystone Kops act in the early days of the investigation was just a brilliant psyop.

As mentioned the door dash arrived a little after 4am. So someone had been up since they got home that night and ordered.

The affidavit doesn't mention the timeline, are we to believe he basically drove there from his house and went straight in and killed them. Or was he outside watching the house for awhile?

He's just trying to elevate the cat's importance to the case.

I'll go along with it, since I foster cats and dogs...

The sheath had "Ka-Bar" and "USMC" insignia on it.
