I am in the North Cape. Very few houses around me. It’s a brand new house so I’m really hoping for the best. Still have power unbelievably but don’t expect that to last. No major water ways right next to me but I’m 15 minutes NE of Pine Island. This storm already feels as bad as Gustav did from False River and we have a long way to go.

Nope, not if you read the Florida trespass statute.

Eastern eyewall is really heating up. This is where the onshore flow is, meaning more storm surge.

Any webcam feeds in the storm area still working?

I am a lawyer, but I have no answers to the question.

Yes. The freshwater flooding is going to be a big problem north of landfall.

Jeff just said 210 mph gust in north eyewall

TheFonz already made a better point, I don't think trespassing will even be a thing after this, that house won't likely make it.

I wish NOAA had a tide gauge at Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel.
They will be using high water marks to measure it I'm sure. It will be BAD.

Landfall imminent on Sanibel?

This is what my wife tells me when I ask her about law stuff. Why did yall even bother going to school if you cant answer my law questions?
Though this is probably how she feels when she asks what the weather will be like today and I go
