I wish white people could feel what it's like to be black

To clarify, I'm not writing this post implying that all black people have some sort of suffering or live an underprivileged life, or that their situation is any more special than any other person. Please do not misinterpret this as another angry black person ranting about racism.

However, as a black person, I can vouch for the entire African-American community by saying that there is a universal discrimination that all blacks face simply by the color of their skin, regardless of their shade, economic situation, background, etc. Black males, in particular, have it even worse as they are immediately profiled as a threat or a criminal, simply because a large percentage of our race are actually criminals or "dangerous" people.

It's interesting though. A large percentage of the white community are serial killers, mass murderers, drug addicts, which are far worse than the common thief, yet the majority of people, upon seeing a white teenager down the street, would feel perfectly safe. But if it is a black male, it's suddenly a situation of danger.

In addition to that, those who frequent the "n word" on the Internet, yet never say it in real life - why? If someone who does that can answer that question, please do, I find that so amusing. It's almost like a secret indulgence, like when you're young and you curse at your parents under your breath, yet never have the balls to actually say it to their face. The amount of times I've been called the "n word" on the internet on Reddit by someone who is most likely white and half my size (6"2, 220 pound male) is baffling, but also very funny to me.

But to get to the bulk of this rant, I wish there was a way to physically project an entire black person's life, so that everyone could literally understand why being called a "n word" or being a victim of racial profiling is so insulting. I can't even bottle my anger - it's 2015. I understand that racism will never be eliminated, even when we eventually all become the same shade due to cultural diffusion, but why the frick do people think that they are superior to anyone else? I just don't understand where this egocentric and narcissistic view came from! I can't even explain all of my thoughts because they're too jumbled to make any sense, but I hope someone gets my drift.
Just venting.
