On May 10 in BR, I was harassed by a black man. The attention he was giving me was unprovoked and unwanted. I asked repeatedly for him to not talk to me and leave me alone. I was called a skanky arse ho, a bitch and other rude things. After 15 minutes of verbal abuse and the establishment where I was wouldn't call BRPD, I finally got pissed off and called him the N word.

He hid on a dark street and waited for me to walk home. He then proceeded to beat me up. He must be so proud of himself, and his daddy too, if he even knows who he is.

Until the thugs quit acting like entitled little pricks, I won't have any sympathy for you or your peers. Clean up your bad neighborhoods and rid the streets of the thugs. Quit segregating yourself (first example is the term "African Americans" --- aren't we ALL Americans? You don't see me calling myself a Caucasian American!)

Do you seriously wonder why people are afraid of a black man or a group of black men walking down the street?? Really?????

Take a walk up Highland Road north of LSU by the President streets after 11 p.m. The residents of that area are scary and will ride up on you on bicycles. You don't hear them approaching. Why do they congregate after the sun goes down? I'm sure that most of these guys are up to no good.

FWIW, I have friends of all ethnicities. Shelby Holmes (RIP) was a good friend of mine. He was black and a wonderful human being.
