Southside Produce could buy the whole thing, raze it, and make a killing. It's 1000 ft away from CHS and the Big Walmart. I just want a fruit stand in Central, who's in?

You’re a few years too late. It was sold in 2023 and has been undergoing a renovation for quite a while to become a yet-to-be named restaurant. Purchased by Ichiban owners family.
Because there are 14 paid holidays, which includes the entire week between Christmas and New Year’s.
The flyer in the OP is on the FB page for the event. Which allows you to comment on btw...

I did my part for this yesterday.
I just sent mine in a few weeks ago and received them. I thought that they were still broken, but I recalibrated them and they work great.

I did the online form, but got an email the next day that I needed to call them. I called and the guy seemed unsure why I was told to call. But he took care of everything over the phone. Overall pretty easy and best of all, free.

A judge ruled Thursday that Councilman LaMont Cole is eligible to run for reelection after a lawsuit challenging his candidacy claimed he no longer lives in the district he represents on the East Baton Rouge Metro Council — though the decision will likely face an appeal.

After an hour-long hearing in the 19th Judicial District Court, Judge Trudy White determined that Cole is, in fact, a resident of District 7, which covers much of Mid City and portions of north Baton Rouge stretching from Interstate 10 to Evangeline Street.

Also, check out the Big Texan restaurant in Amarillo for an interesting meal. It was shown in the John Candy movie where he ate the 72 oz. steak

That wasn't the same place in the movie. In the movie he was eating The Old '96er at Paul Bunyan's Cupboard.
This is from St. Alphonsus yesterday:

All of the Catholic school leaders in the Diocese of Baton Rouge have been collaborating with each other as well as consulting with health care experts. We had our first consultation with Our Lady of the Lake on Monday. It was a very informative visit and they are going to guide us in formulating plans for reopening in August. We know that students are looking forward to reconnecting with their friends, and faculty are excited about returning to school campuses. All schools in our diocese are planning to resume classes in early-August in compliance with the regulations in force at that time. The guidelines are expected to include face masks for students and staff, increased regular hand washing and cleaning practices, and appropriate social distancing. Information specific to our school will be communicated to everyone by the week of July 20th.

By all accounts, the kid was a biological human.

Was he though? In the final couple of seconds as Michael Shannon's character is looking out at the sun from prison, his eyes glow white.

But I do agree that I would like to know more about the backstory because I think that the world-building had some greatness to it that just needed to be explored more. But overall, I enjoyed the movie.
