his condensing of the 10 commandments and the list of people that ought to be killed slays me.

he was a truth teller who happened to be a comedian. in some ways, he was slightly ahead of his time. after his wife passed, he got really dark in his standup - if he were alive today, im pretty sure he would have had a stroke already with how the world/country/society is

I assume he'd fall in line and support Biden and big corporation.

He also would have been vaxxed and boosted.

He would be equally punishing to both sides of the aisle but probably not spend much time on it.

Carlin’s genius was his recognition of the absurdity of everyday life. People addicted to their phones would be squarely in his crosshairs.

Saw him live in Las Vegas with my girlfiend at the time and Mother for my 21st birthday. He opened the show by saying, "Do you know what my favorite word in the English language is......? Pussyfart"

I fell out laughing at the absurdity and fact that my mom and ex (who only had met a handful of times before this trip) were sitting right next to each other for this.

He, Bill Hicks, and to a lesser extent, Hunter Thompson, would have remarkable insight on our societal plot.

I can’t disagree although I’d say much of what he said then is still relevant now.

Nah, Carlin would have attacked the stupidity on both sides of the issue. Nothing pissed him often more than coddled youth and social absurdity.

Yeah, right.

The Bush family (the ultimate RINOs) had Rush eating out of their hands back in '92 on into the early 2000s. Rush was freaking giddy with excitement when that dumbass Dubya got re-elected.
