He looks like a Batman villain. This has to be a parody.

Despite being loony, he's doing a good dad thing. And his son might make a man of him yet.
quote:

I took on being an at-home father because I wanted to bond with my son, and I realized that meant I needed to let him discover his own interests. He had to define his own identity, not influenced by my own bias of what I deemed to be too masculine.

I started taking joy in his joy. He radiates wearing his shirts emblazoned with diggers and dozers and excavators. At 3 ½ years old, he can name dozens of types of tractors (I always thought there was only one). He makes up quasi-gibberish tractor stories, sings quasi-gibberish tractor songs. Together, we clean the living room: He uses his tractors to put all his toys away. Sometimes my dad comes over and we drive tiny plastic machinery from room to room. My son beams. My dad beams. I beam, too.

You know, you can love your kids as well as other people and respect people and still be a masculine man. In fact, it’s what you are meant to be.

I am looking forward to the day when that kid kicks his father's arse. I'm guessing it is going to be around his 13th birthday.

Yep. The Hollywood types (Charlize Theron and others gender robbing their kids) only had kids as a fashion accessory. This moron selfishly had a kid for a virtue signaling beacon.

So that’s the dad writing that. That means that is his wife’s son.

my wife, always one to joke, even soon after giving birth, bragged that she had a connection to our new baby that I could never attain

Yep.

This poor baby. He's going to be suffering abuse until the day he turns 18 and God willing, manages to overcome this.

I've never seen a form of mental child abuse on the horizon more than the story I just read.

This tracks, but I was floored that this was written by a dude. I figured for sure it was a lesbian mom.

What a dumbass thing to take so much pride in.

These type of people are long past any critical thinking or logic. It's all about trying to one-up their woke peers.

Not sure what to do? Let the kid figure things out on his own. Looks like he's already smart enough to recognize shitty parenting skills.

this right here is all i needed to read to decide this person is weak, and has never faced real travesty or hardship in their lives.
