The nuns taught me:
If it’s yellow,
Let it mellow.
If it’s brown,
Flush it down
Mexican showers are great actually (inb4 that’s racist). Heat a pot of water on the stove and use a wash cloth or sponge to clean up. Dump leftover water on head. When camping it makes you feel like a brand new man.

But why? LC is in the heart of the best inshore fishing of any city in Louisiana. I run charters for the casinos frequently with great results. Big Lake is nationally known as a great trout lake.

In LC as well. I have in fact collected icicle drippings in a bucket to flush toilets. My wife was particularly impressed after I flushed her morning pooper.
Thankfully had the hurricane generator, so used it to start the Keurig for coffee and hot toddies this morning.
Had some firewood, but burnt about 6 Amazon boxes to get the big logs going.
Kinda fun to get primitive with it, but after Laura, I’ve had enough training.

i know all about big lake, where i had my bachelor party actually in one of those camps
