My barber is a 78 year old 101st Airborne Vietnam vet. I've been going to him since 5th grade. In all that time he's managed never to slap me.

My dad had clippers and cut our hair up through maybe 12 years old. He had us sit on a chair on the back porch and, if we moved when he said to hold still, he would cop us on the head with the clippers. Ouch. No matter how much it itched or whatever, I was no moving again.
