football is a horrible analogy - I've been to lots of football games and watched from the nosebleeds and it was fine. A better example if the Final Four - if you get more than club level away the ball and players look tiny. In fact, in football it's better to be high up most times bc you can see all the stuff going on bc it's happening across 50 yards most plays.

In the first 10 rows you can't see over the players on the sidelines - I like to be about row 40, although higher up is fine too. If you understand the game and know the players it doesn't really matter - but I definitely don't want to be too low.

Well you should attend a concert that has screens to watch it. Depending on where you are sitting, it allows you to see what you can't see.. Its like having the option to what a zoomed in version.
Why would this be a big deal? Its not like you can watch it on TV. You can go to the concert and not watch the screens.
And there is more to a concert than just hearing the music. If that was the case why go to the concert when you can just stay home and listen to the music? Its the experience, the energy, etc.
Some of you are miserable.

I was offered suite tickets for $100 each. Tickets were very reasonable for this show.

I think it's about the energy and experience of a concert but I will say that tiger stadium seems like a bad place for a concert.
Let me quote Lou Graham to that captures the essence of the desire to see a concert like that:
I don't want to deal with the crowds anymore, in my old age, but I went to a lot of concerts in my younger days. Generally enjoyed all of them. I do prefer smaller venues, though.

The concession lines sucked but outside of that, everything in the stadium was enjoyable. The energy in the stadium with so many people singing along, sitting next to my wife and 8 year old daughter, dancing and singing with them, belting out song after song was awesome.
I get it, it wasn’t intimate with the artist, but it was with two people that I love deeply. We got to know the people next to us, and had a blast chatting it up.
I get it, not everyone likes large crowds and some people don’t want to attend a concert where they can’t touch the band, but the show and the environment was awesome.
