Yea? So you would be cool with someone like Magic Johnson's son giving you one?

I would love to have been able to teleport into and out of the stadium to experience the crowd and the excitement.
It’s just not to me worth the time, energy, and money involved. Luckily I wasn’t forced to go.

What? You think the concert speakers are the same as your shitty Polks at home? I go for the better sound, the variety in the arrangements, not the people singing off key next to me.

This is why I don’t get the stupid “social media” comments. Large venue concerts have been happening for decades, long before there was “social media”.

I dunno how many agree, but here's the thing from this perspective; During the days *before everyone had an iPhone*, at least ALL eyes & ears and attention were focused *as one* on the Live act or game. That made the vibe and experience much better. These days? Half the audience are just recording and FB/Twatting to OTHERS.

I realize it is what it is now, but just sayin' -- all these phone-cams are annoying and distracting to the action and diluting the vibe / experience

I’m pretty bougie about sports and concert tickets. If I’m going I’m splurging on good seats, nose bleeds suck no matter how much you wanna claim “there’s no bad seat in the house”

That being said everybody on this board trying to find every possible excuse to shite on those who went last night is pathetic. I’ve never seen so many people pissed off about other people having a good time, it’s ridiculous. If people enjoy his music and think it’s worth fighting 4 hours of traffic then more power to them. Looked like a damn good time to me from all the videos I’ve seen and I don’t even like country

A better example if the Final Four - if you get more than club level away the ball and players look tiny.

I just went to the final four in New Orleans and sat in row 10 of the 600s section. No issue seeing the players and the action and really enjoyed it.

Im not pissed and never gave any indication I was. Again, it is my opinion. Agree or not. It makes no difference.

The concert was fine.

It was the beer people and the traffic that sucked bigly .

Calm down. It's just a message board and people giving others the business. Nobody is actually pissed off, except for the guy who had to fight traffic just to get around town.

there is more to a concert than just hearing the music. If that was the case why go to the concert when you can just stay home and listen to the music? Its the experience, the energy, etc.

Agree. "Experience, the energy, etc.

That said, the "music" as heard at a typical concert? Rarely is it the best thing about it about a concert (even if you're close.) NOT a fan of the typical distorted, over-amplified noise through a venue's speakers. It's actually annoying & disappointing most times. (But through the soundboard? Different story.)

That’s frickin Magic Johnson’s son? Damn he’s fly. That was a joke. So was the first thing.

But seriously though, I don’t think you outright turn down the free handjob, you can at least get it to go, take it home, maybe regift it later.

I wasn't there but the photos from the concert with TS packed looked like it was a lot of fun to be there no matter where you sat. The experience alone was probably awesome no matter where you sat.

The people watching was probably the best part. Plus, not much worry about getting killed

I'm curious - another poster said he got tics for $50 - what did that get you at this concert? How much would it cost to get a tic where you could actually see Garth

All tickets were sold at $96 including fees on ticketmadter when they released to the public. From front row to the top of tiger stadium.

What people paid on the secondary market I don't know hut we paid 96 and had great seats in 105

It’s more about the atmosphere at that point which certainly can’t be compared to listening to an artist on YouTube

Yep - this is why I have my non-negotiable pit or first few rows rule for all shows.
