I agree. The whole "muh-Jumbotron" TV screen thing at concerts and football games is beyond stupid; it's has always been a giant scam. If you're *not* close enough to the action, just stay home and watch in the (economic convenience & comfort of your home.)

ORGANIZER$: "We'll stick a bunch of giant Tee-Bees around the place -- all that matters is...the ant-sheeple *believe* they are "having fun."

Where did I say they couldn't? I am just giving my opinion. You can agree or not and do as you please.

Breaking: There are people with different preferences and priorities than OP.

More in this story after the break.

True. But sound is only one facet. *Preferable* to also actually SEE performers. NOT ants.

However, I always appreciate the big intangibles -- like The Vibe. There's the tailgating, the pre-show vibe and specially closer-in proximity to the action/act vibe.

Not sure what kind of vibe you’re catching at a Wal-Mart concert

Yeah but think of your instagram friends who wouldn't get to see you post a selfie 452 feet from garth, while they're 256 feet in the other direction posting selfies

So why did Garth need to be there? Why not just open TS and play a live recording? Same vibe for many, right?

If I feel like it, I’ll take over on drums. Just depends on my mood.

I was given 4 tickets and a parking pass and remembered 20 years ago having a fantastic time in the PMac watching him so I went and enjoyed it.

Here’s a clip from when he played The River. It was the loudest I’ve ever experienced Tigerstadium and I’m old. 1997 Florida game, 2007 Florida both loud, the crowd noise last night was amazing.

Your seats look decent, though.

I think we were on row 54 or something… they were incredible football seats. The fisheye lens on the iPhone are fun to use. Rittenhouse’s attorneys would be proud of my old arse being able to pinch and zoom.
