Da frick is this in freedom units?

Green H2 is from renewables.
So wind and solar to produce electricity for electrolysis... still seeing a problem.

We aren't ready for hydrogen cars yet
Well, yeah, we're not ready for any technology. That's how it has always been throughout human history. We have to push forward with multiple solutions in hopes that one sticks.

Where do you get the hydrogen? Can I pull up to an air liquide ASU and swipe my card?

Hydrogen power will be more effective with large trucks, trains buses etc. Fueling stations will be the issue and limiting to corridors will be helpful

Sorry, I only do all of my distance measurements in fathoms.

440K fathoms

I really really want to fire some red-tips into one of these just to see.
I gotta know.
I went metric long ago; specifically centimeters. That way I can claim my cock length is in the double digits.

I'd rather do hydrogen combustion instead of fuel cells. But that is just me.

Yeah, but you're all gay and stuff now. I guess the guys like it, though.

Thanks for the clarification. I read it as only having 300km in range. Thanks for explaining/correcting and not being a douche about it.

To clear things up on the fuel source..
"Green" Hydrogen uses electrolysis (water) fueled by renewable power and is so uneconomic to produce it's not even funny.
"Blue" Hydrogen is SMR (nat gas) but you have to sequester the carbon emissions (cost money)
"Grey" Hydrogen accounts for like 99% of global hydrogen production is SMR (nat gas) with no carbon capture
Green = trash, never going to work (economically)
Blue = maybe works at some point? tbd
Grey = works, always has, always will, affordable, but does nothing to reduce emissions
This my friends is the "Energy Transition Paradox"
or said another way
You can't legislate physics

Hydrogen Powered = Electric Powered. The hydrogen is used to recharge the battery, which runs the car. The car engine doesn't burn hydrogen.

the NamX HUV can manage 800km before needing a fresh hit of gas. That's only like, what....15 or 20 miles? Pssssh......
That's almost 500 miles nimrod.
I will never cease to be amazed.

Bingo, the problem isn't we can't come up with a car that runs on clean energy. The problem is we can't come up economical clean energy.

So solar and wind to make electricity to make hydrogen to then make electricity.
Brilliant.

I was at a conference this month where they were discussing the compressibility issues with hydrogen compared to natural gas. For the same volumes natural gas was able to produce 70% more energy. So I guess my question is “how are they overcoming this disadvantage with this tech?”.

I am all for varying fuel sources as I believe energy diversity is good for our country. Transporting hydrogen is an absolute bitch and cannot be piped into existing natural gas pipelines.
It’s absolutely possible and a viable fuel source, but the most economical way to generate hydrogen is from natural gas. So why not just use natural gas powered cars
