You clean the catch basin out.

The guys from space city weather,

Theeyewall.com their sister site is a good read

I might be judging on their misses too harshly, derecho & beryl. If I have a complaint about them, is they try to be too anti-Twitter doom casters which tbf is their motivation for making the site.

That said I read daily and pretty grateful Houston has them

Yeah they try too hard to not overhype and it’s bit them a few times.

The heavy rain threat still looks legit, but models have scaled back to max amounts of 6-8", which is pretty manageable for most areas of South Louisiana. The key to watch for is whether this tracks farther south than expected and becomes a bit more organized. Some hints of that in the 18z hurricane models.

I’m not on you guys level, but everything that I can see has the high fairly controlling it and continuing to pull north once it starts.

Do you see any potential stall?

Also Eric Webb is a meteorologist who is active on X is saying 93L should be a TD over land right now and is drifting to the sw and will become a TS - maybe a strong one

Eric is legit, but if this were a TD, then the trigger happy NHC would have tagged it.

Yup. But that's irrespective of any weather forecast.

So the next named storm is Dexter?

Nice, a storm named after a serial killer.

(No, I haven't searched or read every page to see if this has already been pointed out.)
